Kris and Kelly,
I just opened your MCAD website. My Deck Foreman (a pretty macho friend, my age) and I both cried. My tears were mixed - sadness and joy. My prayers have been with you and will continue to be.
I never had the good fortune of Alexis touching my heart. You two are permanent parts of mine and of Lemon's. I can only imagine how many other lives you have touched.
Thanks for this site. Thanks for being who you two are. Thanks for being part of so many hearts.
Best Wishes and Always Best Regards,
Sam

Kelly and Jason,
What a wonderful gift you have given to other parents who know nothing about this disease. Alexis has done more for humankind in her short eight years than most people do their whole life. What an absolutely precious little girl!! Thank you so much for sharing her story with all of us.
God Bless You!

Alexis filled my heart and my daughter Abby's heart with joy. Abby still has little conversations with Alexis, I sometimes wonder what Alexis is saying to her, because she is often laughing throughout the conversation. We will always keep her close to our heart.

It brought up all the hurt again to think about the little angel we lost. My continued prayers and thoughts are with the family that loved her soooooo much. She was a delight and her loss was deeply felt by all who knew her. Hopefully with this website other children and families will not have to go thru this horrible trauma. Love to you all!!

I've been thinking and praying for you and your family since my mom (Mary Jane Wingett) told me about Alexis. I know that sharing your story will help countless other families, and I intend to share your website with my friends here in Nashville. You are incredibly strong!

Thank you for this wonderful website. It is a lovely tribute to Alexis and will make people around the world more aware of MCAD so that this illness can be detected at an early stage and cured.

Such a terrible thing to have happened to this sweet little girl. Such a positive thing (this web site) to have happened as a result of her passing. Hopefully the lives of many children will be saved as a result of the loss of this one. God bless.

Live each day knowing there is a light
at the end of the tunnel. The candle is shinning brightly waiting for the return of the harmonous family. Alexis transformed into an angel holds the candle with her heavenly family she waits with the biggest smile on her glorious face. The journey never ends.
